John Henry is well-known in many areas. His company, John W. Henry & Co. (JWH), has long been the largest pure managed futures trader, measured by assets under management. Henry has been known as a visionary in the managed futures community. And, most recently, he purchased the Florida Marlins baseball team after owning a string of other baseball teams, including a 1 percent share of the New York Yankees.
